AMD vs NVIDIA - THE GRAPHIC WAR
One is not necessarily better than the other, as both have areas where they excel and where they leave something to be desired. For the most part, AMD is mostly better when it comes to budget and mid-range cards, whereas Nvidia is the only way to go for high-end graphics cards.
PERFORMANCE AND PRICING:
Mostly the war is regarding the performance and pricing. People searches for a good performance graphic card with a reasonable pricing. The performance and pricing comparison is listed below:

Well, we simply cannot generalize on this subject since performance varies greatly from model to model, and with Nvidia and AMD. There are lot of ups and downs in performance graph. When we overlap both the companies’ GPU pricing and performance, it results in the filling of others pricing and performance gap. For example, say that Nvidia launches a $100 GPU that can achieve 30 FPS in 1080p. Then, AMD releases a GPU that costs $120 and can achieve 40 FPS, only for Nvidia to release a $150 GPU that can reach 50 FPS, and so on.
SOFTWARE:
Both Nvidia and AMD releases its new and stable drivers frequently. On a comparison scale, Nvidia have a slight better record in term of stability and consistency.
